Hello World! I'm brand new to this pen pal thing but I'm excited about giving it a try. My days are spent reading, working out and waiting for chow so having a pen pal would certainly give me something to look forward to. I am 6 1/2 years in on a 16 year sentence for drug possession and have done a lot of time in my 43 years starting at 15 years old in Florida. My family is from Texas though and that is where I met my now 17 year old son's mother, where we three shared 10 very good years. I spent a lot of time in the oil patch out in West Texas before I got into residential construction and eventually ran my own company building cabins, garages, home additions, decks and gazebos. I took a lot of pride in my work and family life, then I made some bad decisions and walked away from this world, one of the worst that I ever made. Now I have lots of time to think things over and over...About me on a more personal level, I'm super laid back and always looking for the bright side also open to try new and different things. Confident but willing to learn a better way and prefer to agree to disagree rather than to argue. I believe myself to be a good person and have never maliciously hurt anyone, just myself. I LOVE the Dallas Cowboys, being outdoors, fishing, camping out, eating out, grilling, cuddling up with a movie, live music, weekend parties, experimenting in the kitchen and challenging myself. The thought of finding and helping to create a new family sounds very sweet to me and I am super interested in getting to know you!
